1. Brit-Am Museum?

Probably the best thing that could happen is if a simple museum was set up
to show the dispersion of the ten tribes.  There are museums all over this
city, some of which are incredibly simple.  Someone with some art
background or graphic arts could probably put together a simple but nice
display.  Then all the kids from the schools could come.  And it could be
at a very discounted rate during the chagim.  This would be able to reach a
lot of people.

2. Answers to Attacks on the Talmud
We have posted this in the past but the questions keep returning:
Sometimes people write in asking me concerning the truth or lack of truth
in anti-Semitic accusations against the Jewish people.

Those who ask the questions are usually (but not always) genuine people who
have been fed wrong information and want to know the truth of the matter.
Some of these accusations concern the Talmud which I study regularly but am
very very far from being  an authority in.

The following site mentioned  is very good and should answer adequately any
questions of the said nature.
http://www.angelfire.com/mt/talmud/
<<Talmud: Statement of Purpose

There are many lies circulating the internet about the Jewish Talmud. These
allegations are supported by "direct quotations" from the Talmud that are
frequently wrong or taken out of context. However, most people lack the
scholarly background to verify these claims. Most people have no way of
knowing that these accusation are false and malicious. What we are
attempting is to demonstrate in detail how these accusations are both wrong
and intentionally misleading. We are trying to show to the world the real
truth about the Talmud.>>

3. Unicorn: Joseph Shall Rule
Most of the orders for our magazine Brit-Am Trith issue no  7
have been sent out. Some are still in process but should go out shortly.
The issue contains a very interesting article concerning the unicorn.
Did such a creature exist? Are there several possibilities?
What do fossils and Assyrian illustrations tell us?
The issue contains a lot more articles of great interest
as do all isssues of this magazine. If you are not already subscribed then
maybe youn should be?

Louis Ginzberg ("Legends of the Jews", 1911) vol. iii,
quotes from Sifre D., 353; from Targ. Jerush. Deut. 33 16 17; and from PR
II, 43b 44a.: "..as the unicorn with his horns pushes away all other
animals, so too, shall Joseph's sons rule the nations, even to the ends of
the earth".

Answer:
Referring to Judah it does say that your own enemies will be those who were
part of you and came out of you.
The message applied to Judah could also be applicable to all of Israel.
Here is the relevant verse and the commentary we gave.
[Isaiah 49:17] YOUR BUILDERS OUTSTRIP YOUR DESTROYERS, AND THOSE WHO LAID
YOU WASTE GO FORTH FROM YOU.
The KJ has translated Isaiah 49;17 above according to the simple meaning
that the oppressors and destroyers of Judah will depart. Actually, the
Hebrew original can also be understood to say that the destroyers of Judah
came out from them themselvesand so the verse is often traditionally
understood and quoted. Instead of THOSE WHO LAID YOU WASTE GO FORTH FROM
YOUit can be translated to say THOSE WHO LAID YOU WASTE CAME FORTH FROM
YOU. The enemies of the Jewish people have often found friends and allies
amongst the Jews themselves. Every nation has its traitors only the Jews
historically were always more vulnerable to treacherous influences since
they lacked their own kingdom. Also their real self-interest was often not
sufficiently clear-cut even to themselves and wherever they turned enemies
surrounded them. Negative influences from outside were much greater.
Even so vengeance will be taken against those who oppressed
the Jews and many peoples who had wronged them will be ashamed of
themselves: The exiles of Judah and descendants of Jewish captives shall
return to Judah.

Shalom
This is a question that recurs frequently.
You actually asked two questions:
a) Will all Israel return?
(b) Will there be room for all of them?
We cannot really answer these questions but we can look at a few sources
taken from our commentaries in the past to widen our perspective.
It is interesting  that part of the answer lies in verses 49:18-20 of
Isaiah whereas the
answer that we have just given to another question on another topic was in
the preceding verse of Isaiah 49:17!
[Isaiah 49:18] LIFT UP THINE EYES ROUND ABOUT, AND BEHOLD: ALL THESE
GATHER THEMSELVES TOGETHER,  AND COME TO THEE. AS I LIVE, SAITH THE LORD,
THOU SHALT SURELY CLOTHE THEE WITH THEM ALL, AS WITH AN ORNAMENT, AND BIND
THEM ON THEE, AS A BRIDE DOETH.
Newcomers and those who were lost will be ingathered.

[Isaiah 49:19] FOR THY WASTE AND THY DESOLATE PLACES, AND THE LAND OF THY
DESTRUCTION, SHALL EVEN NOW BE TOO NARROW BY REASON OF THE INHABITANTS, AND
THEY THAT SWALLOWED THEE UP SHALL BE FAR  AWAY.
There will be so many people that at first it will feel as if there is not
enough room for all of them.

[Isaiah 49:20] THE CHILDREN BORN IN THE TIME OF YOUR BEREAVEMENT WILL YET
SAY IN YOUR EARS: THE PLACE IS TOO NARROW FOR ME; MAKE ROOM FOR ME TO DWELL IN.
This section is referring primarily to Judah. Even when all Judah
returns  there will be a feeling at first of "overcowding".
Isaiah then turns to the Lost Ten Tribes
The Lost Ten Tribes will also return. The Jews of Judah will meet the
return of the Lost Ten Tribes with mixed reactions:
[Isaiah 49:21] THEN SHALT THOU SAY IN THINE HEART, WHO HATH BEGOTTEN ME
THESE, SEEING I HAVE LOST MY CHILDREN, AND AM DESOLATE, A CAPTIVE, AND
REMOVING TO AND FRO? AND WHO HATH BROUGHT UP THESE? BEHOLD, I WAS LEFT
ALONE; THESE, WHERE HAD THEY BEEN?
In other words, the Jews will ask where were all those now identified as
Israel when the Jews needed help and were alone? According to the Midrash
(Pesikta Rabati 32;10) this reaction of the Jews will take place WHEN THEY
SEE THE THREE EXILES OF THE LOST TEN TRIBES RETURNING!
We dealt with this matter in our book "Ephraim" and in our commentary to
Isaiah.
Isaiah continues to speak of the ingathering of the Lost Tribes as well
as that of Judah and of reconciliation between the Lost Tribes and Judah:
[Isaiah 11:12] HE WILL RAISE AN ENSIGN FOR THE NATIONS, AND WILL ASSEMBLE
THE OUTCASTS OF ISRAEL, AND GATHER THE DISPERSED OF JUDAH FROM THE FOUR
CORNERS OF THE EARTH.
[Isaiah 11:13] THE JEALOUSY OF EPHRAIM SHALL DEPART, AND THOSE WHO HARASS
JUDAH SHALL BE CUT OFF; EPHRAIM SHALL NOT BE JEALOUS OF JUDAH, AND JUDAH
SHALL NOT HARASS EPHRAIM.

Ezekiel (ch.47) spoke of the future apportionment of the Promised
Land amongst the Twelve Tribes of Israel in the Messianic era. The area
spoken of includes modern day Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, and Israel, and
additional parts of neighboring lands. This final re-division of the land
takes place after certain physical geographical and climatic changes occur.
Ezekiel also speaks of apportioning The Land to "The strangers [i.e. non
Israelites] that sojourn amongst you": The strangers who identify with you
will be counted as the same as you. "So shall ye divide this land among you
according to the tribes of Israel" (Ezekiel 47;21-23).

[Jeremiah 3:12] GO AND PROCLAIM THESE WORDS TOWARD THE NORTH, AND SAY,
RETURN, THOU BACKSLIDING ISRAEL, SAITH THE LORD; AND I WILL NOT CAUSE MINE
ANGER TO FALL UPON YOU: FOR I AM MERCIFUL, SAITH THE LORD, AND I WILL NOT
KEEP ANGER FOR EVER.
THE NORTH: Most of the Lost Ten Tribes are in the North when the Land of
Israel is taken as the reference point. They are being called upon to
repent.
[Jeremiah 3:13] ONLY ACKNOWLEDGE THINE INIQUITY, THAT THOU HAST
TRANSGRESSED AGAINST THE LORD THY GOD, AND HAST SCATTERED THY WAYS TO THE
STRANGERS UNDER EVERY GREEN TREE, AND YE HAVE NOT OBEYED MY VOICE, SAITH
THE LORD.
The Lost Ten Tribes relatively speaking may have fulfilled at least part of
the task that was laid upon them but they are still lacking. They must
repent of their idolatry.
[Jeremiah 3:14] TURN, O BACKSLIDING CHILDREN, SAITH THE LORD; FOR I AM
MARRIED UNTO YOU: AND I WILL TAKE YOU ONE OF A CITY, AND TWO OF A FAMILY,
AND I WILL BRING YOU TO ZION:
This could mean several things: It could be that only a minority will
return. Zechariah 13;8 indicates that there will be some kind of calamity
and that only a third will survive:  AND IT SHALL COME TO PASS, THAT IN ALL
THE LAND, SAITH THE LORD, TWO PARTS THEREIN SHALL BE CUT OFF AND DIE; BUT
THE THIRD SHALL BE LEFT THEREIN [Zechariah 13:8].  It could mean something
else. Jeremiah is speaking of a return to Zion. Zionaccording to the simple
meaning is another term for Jerusalem meaning Judah in the religious sense.
It could be that a relatively small portion (ONE OF A CITY, AND TWO OF A
FAMILY) will be called upon to return in the religious sense prior to the
Messianic Era.

[Amos 9:9] FOR, LO, I WILL COMMAND, AND I WILL SIFT THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL
AMONG ALL NATIONS, LIKE AS CORN IS SIFTED IN A SIEVE, YET SHALL NOT THE
LEAST GRAIN FALL UPON THE EARTH.
A Midrash says that the sanctity of the Land of Israel is destined to
spread all over the earth.

Tentative Answers:
We do not know what will happen exactly but can only derive a rough
impression here and there.
We know that the knowledge of Brit-Am identity should be spread before
anything else takes place.

It may be that ultimately most of the Lost Israelites remain in their
present locations only sending representatives of their families
to live in the expanded Land of Greater Israel and themselves paying
periodic visits.
Or if we take the borders of the Promised Land as stretching from the
western estuary of the Nile up unto the Euphrates
and assume a climatic change, a healing of the land, and other changes then
theoretically it may be possible for all the Lost Israelites
to enter there.
