1. Two Sticks
From: D&P Reid
Subject: about the two-stick staff
Dearest Yair,

Would it be possible to show us the gift staff? Could a photo of it be
put on the website, or emailed in a Brit-Am Now report? Something about
this strikes a sweet cord in me .... yes, to be able to say, "I was the man
with the two-sticks-that-became-one..."  In school i believe this is called
a "visual aid" to learning.  Delightful.
What a blessing.  Thank you for telling us.
all the very best,
Priscilla

2. Message from Tom Turner, -Producer of the Two Sticks

Tom Turner who designed and produced the sticks can be contact at:
Tommy704@aol.com
I have asked Tom to send us a photo of his product if he can. We
ourselves
will try to get hold
of a digital camera ourselves and take a photo of the two sticks.
I just received this message from Tom (and have asked him to prepare
another message for our list):

Answer:
The book is  worth reading as far as I remember. I do not think he has
any
important points we in Brit-Am do not now cover.
He was probably inspired by British Israel literature and in turn paved
the
way for W.H. Armstrong and others all of whom in their
own way made a contribution to these studies and helped spread the
message
in its earlier stages.

4. The Passing of a Scholar  (
H. L. HOEH)
Herman L. HOEH has just passed away. H. L. HOEH greeted the first
publication of "The Tribes" enthusiastically and recommended his
acquaintances and students to buy it. He was one of our first
supporters.
He was the author of a history of the world that relied heavily on
traditional and mythological sources
many of which were relatively unknown and difficult to come by. His
work is
an invaluable fount of source material and well worth reading.
Herman L. HOEH,  "Compendium of World History", A Dissertation
Presented
to The Faculty of the Ambassador College  Graduate School of Theology
In
Partial Fulfillment of the Requirements for the Degree  Doctor of
Theology,
1962 (1963-1965, 1967 Edition), USA.

We did not know
H. L. HOEH personally but spoke to him a few times on the phone and
found
him to be civil, considerate, and discerning. May he rest in peace.

The name "Iberia" for Spain (from which we have the expression "Iberian
Peninsula" for Spain and Portugal together)
derives from the Greeks applying the name Iberi to the natives of
Spain.
The Greeks used this term since due to the previous presence of a
people
named "Iberi" in Spain with whom they had become acquainted. This
explanation is confirmed by the Cambridge Ancient History.
The original "Iberi" in Spain had mostly moved out as we emphasize
often.
Later, Visigoths and other "Germanic" tribes conquered parts of Spain
and
established minor kingdoms there.
Amongst the Anglo-Saxon Kingdoms in England Mercia in the center was
possibly the most important.
Zaharias P. THUNDY ( "Millenium. Apocalypse and Antichrist," USA,
1998)
traced the settlers of Mercia to the
Visigoths in Spain. Professor Thundy was at one stage a subscriber to
our
list and perhaps he still is
since mostly I do not keep track of which e-mail address belongs to
which
person.
Professor Thundy specializes in Anglo-Saxon and related studies. He
comes
from an Ancient Christian community in
Kerala (southwest India) that still uses the Aramaic tongue and he
believes
may be of Jewish or other Middle Eastern origin.
There seem to be not an inconsiderable number of academics "lurking" on
our
list who occasionally make their presence known
and sometimes make use of informational leads we have provided.

Spreading the Brit-Am message is our task.
We do this full time and God willing will continue to do so
as long as necessary.
