Many comments are being posted that state "we" want to come home and find that this isn't possible without going bankrupt or being "too old" according to the decrees of men. We find ourselves in countries that do not share the values we esteem or have a solid faith in G-d utilizing their resources to establish courts of justice etc... Things are changing fast and those immersed into the scriptures know that we have a world that is moving away from the Creator at a very rapid pace.
Power from heaven was bestowed upon Abraham, Moshe, Joshua, Daniel and many others that feared G-d instead of men. You will note that the conviction these men had was not shared by the masses. Today that makes for a pretty lonely walk, but the promise of G-d stands forever to those that keep the covenant. The physical descendants of Abraham were never to be forsaken (Gen 17:7-9).
....The sifting process allowed by Heaven has a purifying affect because the ALMIGHTY is the master surgeon of the soul and knows exactly who the descendants of Abraham are and where to find them. HE knows when and where to pierce the souls and hearts of men. Painful...yes...bringing a heart of repentance (teshuva)...absolutely. This process also produces a humble heart of conviction that the Holy One can use for His purposes.
The prophecies contained within the Torah and the destiny of the nations has to occur because G-D said they would. We have to place our faith...the very existence of our souls in HIS hands doing HIS will, obeying HIS voice (Josh 24) - The Torah -

Realizing that redemption is a process, there is a NEED to establish a FRAMEWORK for the EVENTUAL uniting of the house of Joseph with the house of Judah in the land of Israel. Just as we prepare for Sabbath and welcome the presence of the Almighty to our Sabbath home, Joseph and Judah need to make preparation for the final redemption by the Messiah by establishing a framework for Joseph and Judah to live together in the land of Israel. In doing so, Joseph needs to be patient and allow the Almighty to work out all the details.
