#5. 5% of US Whites Are Probably Jewish!

Shalom Yair:
This is just a note to say that kosher certified processed food (frozen
or canned) almost dominates the market here where I live in the US.
Canned fish such as tuna may also be easily found. Some brands of
cheddar cheese are also found, though not as common. For kosher
chicken, all I can find is chicken soup in the kosher section of two of
our super markets. Kosher beef is found only with Hebrew National
hotdogs, easily found, whose ads are quite humorous when aired.
Why would so many food processors and super markets produce and sell
kosher certified food' My thoughts are that there are many more
Americans with a Jewish background than 5%.
On a personal note, back around 1962, in my early teens, my mom said
that our neighbors, who were Jewish, ate "Jewish food". When I asked
what was wrong with "Jewish food", she replied that it all had to be
"koshered". Years later, Mom told me that her grandfather in England
was
Jewish, his last name was Lewy and he had married Mom's grandmother who
I assume was Anglican. This would have been about the 1870's and I
wonder if a marriage like this could have been a really bad situation
for the rabbi and the Anglican minister at that time.

3. Finland: New Evidence Identifying
the Finnish with Israelites!
Finnish Academic researchers, Pekka T. Lyyranen and Tuula-Hannele Ikonen, in a new
article,
SOME MYTHS AND FACTS OF THE ORIGIN OF THE FINNS IN COMPARISON WITH THE
ISRAELITES (2011) bring evidence indicating that the Finnish
People descend from Israel.
Their evidence (which is adduced in the article in very summarized form) is
based on:
a. The Opinions of early Finnish and other Scandinavian Scholars.
b. Most of the Finns are proven to have come from the bend of the Volga near the
Caspian Sea. This was an area associated with the Ten Tribes. It was from this
region that the early Israelite Scythians and Khazars first appeared.
c. In Finnish vocabulary, etc, there are traces of Hebrew.
d. Finnish customs are similar to Hebrew or Jewish ones, e.g. the Finns kept,
like Jews, Saturday as the Sabbath. Mammi, Finnish unleavened bread, is eaten
at Easter which is supposed to be at Passover;
nomenclature of fabrics and home items;
An Old wedding tradition (still carried out in Finland in the 20th century)
where the bridal couple stand under a canopy called in Hebrew a 'huppah' (chuppah),
and in Finnish, 'huppu'.
e. DNA links between Finns, Samaritans, and Jews. This includes certain
inherited afflictions.
f. Cultural similarities, similar values, affinities of the Finns for Israel and
the Jews.
The Finnish name for God was Yummella, or Yuma, or Ymar.
[Brit-Am Comment: The authors apparently were not aware of it , but it would
seem that the Northern Israelites (from the Ten Tribes) before their exile
pronounced the name of God as something like YMA or YaMa!] |
Early Scandinavian historians traced the Finnish People to the Tribes of Israel
and/or recognized affinities between the Finnish Language and Ancient Hebrew.
e.g. the 17th century Swedish linguist, theologian, and Bishop Enevaldus
Svenonius; the Finnish linguist of the holy languages, theologian Daniel
Juselius traced the Finns to Ancient Israel (1712); the Swedish scholar of
medicine, botanist and ornithologist Olof Rudbeck in 17th and 18th century
assumes that Finns were "referable to the remains of the tribes of Israel"; the
Swedish historian, nobleman Olof von Dalin believed that the ancient Finns
'descended ultimately from the lost tribes of Israel' (1745). The Finnish
historian Johannis Bilmark argued that the Finns are descendants from the
Northern Kingdom of Israel, refugees from Assyria. The Finnish historian A. G.
Koranter in 1848 based on his historical records from Savo in the Eastern part of
Finland argued that the Finns are descendants of ancient Israelite tribes. His study
was based on the names of places.
More details will follow.

All truth passes through three
stages: First it is ridiculed.
Second, it is violently opposed.
Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.
Arthur Schopenhauer (1788-1860).
