Psalms 112
[Psalms 112:1] PRAISE YE THE LORD. BLESSED IS THE MAN THAT FEARETH THE LORD, THAT DELIGHTETH GREATLY IN HIS COMMANDMENTS.
Fear God and you will have to fear others. Neither will you or your family have to fear for scarcity.
COMMANDMENTS. This includes doing what you have to do according to what you are.

[Psalms 112:2] HIS SEED SHALL BE MIGHTY UPON EARTH: THE GENERATION OF THE UPRIGHT SHALL BE BLESSED.
MIGHTY. Hebrew "Gibor" connoting heroism, manhood, power, and rulership.
HIS SEED: This encompasses his children and their children.
The name "Geber" derives from the same root as "Gibor" and has the same meaning. It is an important name in Lost Ten Tribes Nomenclature especially amongst the Celts.
For an explanation of the significance of this name for the Lost Ten tribes go to our article:

[Psalms 112:3] WEALTH AND RICHES SHALL BE IN HIS HOUSE: AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS ENDURETH FOR EVER.
If you do good you will be rewarded both in this world and the next. It may be that in this world because of faults and offences of your own or of those you are with the blessings may not be immediately apparent. Nevertheless eventually the blessing will come and it come at a time and in a way you would have agreed with if all the options had have been known to you.
AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS ENDURETH FOR EVER. In the Hebrew this may be understood to say, A RIGHTOUS GENERATION WILL BE BLESSED. Taking this phrase as adjoined to the previous verse we may understand it to intimate that when someone does rightly they receive reward not only for themselves but also for the goodness of their forefathers. Also when not only oneself but also all those around go in the right path the blessing will be felt much more.

[Psalms 112:4] UNTO THE UPRIGHT THERE ARISETH LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS: HE IS GRACIOUS, AND FULL  OF COMPASSION, AND RIGHTEOUS.
Even in hard times the fear of the Almighty is like a beam of light guiding us along the path.
GRACIOUS...FULL  OF COMPASSION.. RIGHTEOUS are all qualities that we should adopt for ourselves.

[Psalms 112:5] A GOOD MAN SHEWETH FAVOUR, AND LENDETH: HE WILL GUIDE HIS AFFAIRS WITH  DISCRETION.
A good person will help others with DISCRETION translated from the Hebrew "be-Mishpat" meaning literally "in judicious decision".

[Psalms 112:6] SURELY HE SHALL NOT BE MOVED FOR EVER: THE RIGHTEOUS SHALL BE IN EVERLASTING REMEMBRANCE.
A righteous person may well leave an impression on others that endures and is passed on to others.

[Psalms 112:7] HE SHALL NOT BE AFRAID OF EVIL TIDINGS: HIS HEART IS FIXED, TRUSTING IN THE LORD.

[Psalms 112:8] HIS HEART IS ESTABLISHED, HE SHALL NOT BE AFRAID, UNTIL HE SEE HIS DESIRE UPON HIS ENEMIES.
HIS DESIRE. This is not in the Hebrew original. A literal translation would render this phase, UNTIL HE SEE UPON HIS ENEMIES with the words "HIS DESIRE" perhaps being implied but not necessarily so but at all events he will see his enemies requited.

[Psalms 112:9] HE HATH DISPERSED, HE HATH GIVEN TO THE POOR; HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS ENDURETH FOR EVER; HIS HORN SHALL BE EXALTED WITH HONOUR.
HIS HORN in Hebrew "karno" from the root "Keren".
This name was also of significance amongst the Ten Tribes.
"HEBREW CELTIC NAMESAKES"

In Scripture the word "keren" is associated with wealth, honor, surety.

[Psalms 112:10] THE WICKED SHALL SEE IT, AND BE GRIEVED; HE SHALL GNASH WITH HIS TEETH, AND MELT AWAY: THE DESIRE OF THE WICKED SHALL PERISH.
The wicked often regret their own ways. In their heart they know they could have done better. It would not have been necessarily so hard for them to have gone in the right path as outsiders sometimes suppose. They may have even preferred it. When the Final Judgement comes they will regret the wicked path they chose.
THE DESIRE OF THE WICKED SHALL PERISH: Even that for which they gave everything up and rejected the Path of Rightousness will be realized as worthless to them.
We should all take counsel from this.
It is not necessarily so hard to be righteous and to do the will of the Almighty and it is definitely worthwhile as the above verses have explained to us.
