Psalms 24 BY DAVID. A PSALM [Psalms 24:1] THE EARTH IS THE LORD'S, AND THE FULNESS THEREOF; THE WORLD, AND THEY THAT   DWELL THEREIN. All the world was created by God who still controls it and does with it as HE wills. [Psalms 24:2] FOR HE HATH FOUNDED IT UPON THE SEAS, AND ESTABLISHED IT UPON THE FLOODS. Great Jewish thinkers emphasized the need to appreciate the wonders of Creation meaning a scientific understanding according to one's level. They considered this to be almost a religious obligation. I myself unfortunately never got involved very much (if at all) in this aspect of learning. [Psalms 24:3] WHO SHALL ASCEND INTO THE HILL OF THE LORD? OR WHO SHALL STAND IN HIS HOLY  PLACE? Who is really worthy to approach the Almighty? To come close to his Holy Sanctuary? [Psalms 24:4] HE THAT HATH CLEAN HANDS, AND A PURE HEART;  WHO HATH NOT LIFTED UP HIS SOUL UNTO VANITY, NOR SWORN DECEITFULLY. There are a lot of good people in the world. Nevertheless most of us fall down some time or other. There may be periods in the past of many of us when it can perhaps be said that in some way we fell down more often than not. Nevertheless people do not want to be bad. Even when they did bad things their hearts were not necessarily entirely with them. We can use this inner will of ours to get closer to our true selves which means coming closer to the Almighty. [Psalms 24:5] HE SHALL RECEIVE THE BLESSING FROM THE LORD, AND RIGHTEOUSNESS FROM THE GOD OF HIS SALVATION. Whatever you put in you get out and more. Whatever good you do God will reward you in a way that you would most want if you knew the choices.   << THE GOD OF HIS SALVATION>>: In the bottom run only God can save us and help us to help ourselves. [Psalms 24:6] THIS IS THE GENERATION OF THEM THAT SEEK HIM, THAT SEEK THY FACE, O JACOB. SELAH. The Israelites in the End Times will seek the Almighty.  We who have been called to search for these truths are forerunners of  others (including our own kin) who will come after us. The God of Jacob is the God of Israel. Jacob is the forefather of the Israelite nations. By seeking to clarify and affirm our Israelite ancestry we are seeking the face (presence, awareness of physical reality) of our forefather Jacob who was renamed Israel. [Psalms 24:7] LIFT UP YOUR HEADS, O YE GATES; AND BE YE LIFT UP, YE EVERLASTING DOORS; AND  THE KING OF GLORY SHALL COME IN. The closed aspects of earthly existence as called upon to acknowledge the Almighty and his Anointed in the End Times. [Psalms 24:8] WHO IS THIS KING OF GLORY? THE LORD STRONG AND MIGHTY, THE LORD MIGHTY IN BATTLE. These two verses (24:7 & 24:8)  are repeated (24:9 & 24:10) below. All glory comes from God and belongs to HIM. He imparts something of His greatness to flesh and blood to the degree that they acknowledge Him. In the End Times through the Messiah the glory of God will be revealed and become strongly apparent to all mankind. We are drawing near to the End Times and should prepare ourselves largely through self-improvement and repentance. One aspect of this repentance and turning to the Almighty is to seek the "face of  Jacob" and realize the truth of our Israelite ancestry. Brit-Am is doing something in this matter. By helping Brit-Am you too are doing something along the lines of that which is required in our times. [Psalms 24:9] LIFT UP YOUR HEADS, O YE GATES; EVEN LIFT THEM UP, YE EVERLASTING DOORS; AND  THE KING OF GLORY SHALL COME IN. [Psalms 24:10] WHO IS THIS KING OF GLORY?
