Brit-Am Comment:

Six of the Top Places in the second (11-20) ten are Israelite. Concerning the difference between lists (a) and (b) above it is debatable as to which is the most significant. List (b), Donations per Capita, is high for some of the small Arab Princedoms since they have a very small population and a lot of money per head but not so much in absolute terms.
On the other hand countries like Sweden dominate list (a) since they are moderately wealthy and also give quite a lot proportionately. They can (and do) give more per head and still have much more left over.
At all events Israelite nations top both lists.

Brit-Am Comment:

Money in Absolute Terms is much more important than proportional levels of income.

Giving is also determined by relative perceived need of the recipient versus the basic needs of the giver themselves. It can be psychologically more difficult to give large amounts even when the sums are proportionally less per head of population or per percentage of income. It is also more important to the beneficiary.

Out of the Top Twenty, 13 are Israelite. This includes 6 of the Top Ten. A rough glance indicates that the US, UK, and France as a whole give about as much as the rest of the world put together.
Arguements could be made as to who the recipients are and how much the aid helps them but that is another matter.

Brit-Am Comment:

Australia and New Zealand together top the list.
Ireland, Canada, Switzerland, USA, Netherlands, and UK all follow closely after.
Israel in place 36 is misleading.

France in place 91 is also strange.

The Jews in Israel are actually quite generous and helpful.
Separtate statistics for giving by religious groups should verify the generosity of the Jewish People both in absolute as well as relative terms. Even the Arabs in Israel as individuals are not usually so mean most of the time.  The French are not that bad either.

Anyway, these are statistics.

They tell us something. It might not be the whole truth but it helps.

Israelite Nations give more both internationally to other nations and amongst themselves. Israelite Nations also lead by nearly every other positive standard.
