Why Christians should not missionize to Jews
and Jews should not convert to Christianity
Yair Davidiy on behalf of Brit-Am gave an interview ("Brit-Am in Black and White; The Ten Tribes and Why Christians Should not Missionize Jews!") to Tamar Yonah of Israeli National Radio (Arutz-7) concerning the present subject. The interview may be downloaded quickly for hearing.
Most or many Christians feel that that they should spread their belief to others. This is part of their religion and for some this is how they fulfill their religious duty.
Jews are often a favorite target for missionizing endeavors since Jesus himself was Jewish.
Taking to make Jews Christians however is a mistake and against the will of the Almighty.
The Jews have a role to play in the future.
Making Jews Christians stops them being Jewish as we shall explain.
The role of the Jews is to be instrumental in future redemption.
[Zechariah 8:23] THUS SAITH THE LORD OF HOSTS; IN THOSE DAYS IT SHALL COME TO PASS, THAT TEN MEN SHALL TAKE HOLD OUT OF ALL LANGUAGES OF THE NATIONS, EVEN SHALL TAKE HOLD OF THE SKIRT OF HIM THAT IS A JEW, SAYING, WE WILL GO WITH YOU: FOR WE HAVE HEARD THAT GOD IS WITH YOU.
Judah will show the way.
Judah will prepare the path in the Land of Israel for the other Tribes:
[Micah 4:8] AND THOU, O TOWER OF THE FLOCK, THE STRONG HOLD OF THE DAUGHTER OF ZION, UNTO THEE SHALL IT COME, EVEN THE FIRST DOMINION; THE KINGDOM SHALL COME TO THE DAUGHTER OF JERUSALEM.

The task of Judah was to keep the law.
Psalms 60:7] GILEAD IS MINE, AND MANASSEH IS MINE; EPHRAIM ALSO IS THE STRENGTH OF MINE HEAD; JUDAH IS MY LAWGIVER;
Judah would be persecuted.
Psalms 44:18] OUR HEART IS NOT TURNED BACK, NEITHER HAVE OUR STEPS DECLINED FROM THY WAY;
[Psalms 44:19] THOUGH THOU HAST SORE BROKEN US IN THE PLACE OF DRAGONS, AND COVERED US WITH THE SHADOW OF DEATH.
[Psalms 44:20] IF WE HAVE FORGOTTEN THE NAME OF OUR GOD, OR STRETCHED OUT OUR HANDS TO A STRANGE GOD;
[Psalms 44:21] SHALL NOT GOD SEARCH THIS OUT? FOR HE KNOWETH THE SECRETS OF THE HEART.
[Psalms 44:22] YEA, FOR THY SAKE ARE WE KILLED ALL THE DAY LONG; WE ARE COUNTED AS SHEEP FOR THE SLAUGHTER.
Judah will remain distinguishable as Judah until the End Times:
"THE SCEPTRE (Hebrew: "SHEVET" , i.e. Tribal Identification) SHALL NOT DEPART FROM JUDAH" [Genesis 49:10].
The Jews of today are the Judah of Scripture as we prove (as if it needed proof) from the Bible

You cannot change reality even if you feel reality should be changed.
The Jews HAVE to keep the Law in order to fulfill their appointed
Task.
The LAW is how the Jews determine it (Deuteronomy 17:8-13).
It is a given fact that even if you think should be different is not for us to alter.
The Law says that for a Jew to believe in any kind of combination or diminishing of unity and oneness is tantamount to idolatry. A Jew who accepts Christianity in effect cuts himself off from the Jewish people. This is against the will of God. God wants the Jewish people to exist and for Jews to do their duty and remain Jewish.
Judaism also says that no Prophet greater than Moses will ever arise (Deuteronomy 34:10). Even the future Messiah will not be greater than Moses. Jews therefore cannot accept any other prophet with any "new" revelation, i.e. not Jesus or Mohamed or anyone else.
Whether or not Judaism is right in these attitudes may be debated BUT they cannot be changed. They are rooted in Scripture and in Jewish tradition. They who wish to remain Jewish must accept them.
You may counter and say that there exist many Jews who believe in a lot of other things or do not believe in anything at all yet remain Jewish. You have a point. Such Jews are sinners and in dire error or at the least have allowed themselves to be very seriously misled. Nevertheless on the whole they have not actively cut themselves off from the main branch of Judaism whereas becoming Christian would do so. This is a fact. It is reality. You may not like it. Some people do not want to eat but they have to. I had a friend who died probably because of anaxeuria and refusing to eat. There are laws in the universe. This is one of them.
Jews should remain Jewish.
Jews must remain Jewish.
Jews have a task to fulfil.
God wants Jews to stay Jewish.
A Jew who becomes Christian effectively stops being Jewish.
God does not want Jews not to be Jewish.
God does not want Jews to become Christians.
Anyone who tries to bring Jews to believe in Christianity is going against the will of God
and is liable to be punished because of it.
God says:
Even if a prophet shows a sign or wonder, makes a true prophecy, and tells us to worship other gods then that prophet must be put to death (Deuteronomy 12:32-13:6).
[Deuteronomy 12:32] WHAT THING SOEVER I COMMAND YOU, OBSERVE TO DO IT: THOU SHALT NOT ADD THERETO, NOR DIMINISH FROM IT.
[Deuteronomy 13:1] IF THERE ARISE AMONG YOU A PROPHET, OR A DREAMER OF DREAMS, AND GIVETH THEE A SIGN OR A WONDER,
[Deuteronomy 13:2] AND THE SIGN OR THE WONDER COME TO PASS, WHEREOF HE SPAKE UNTO THEE, SAYING, LET US GO AFTER OTHER GODS, WHICH THOU HAST NOT KNOWN, AND LET US SERVE THEM;
[Deuteronomy 13:3] THOU SHALT NOT HEARKEN UNTO THE WORDS OF THAT PROPHET, OR THAT DREAMER OF DREAMS: FOR THE LORD YOUR GOD PROVETH YOU, TO KNOW WHETHER YE LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL.
[Deuteronomy 13:4] YE SHALL WALK AFTER THE LORD YOUR GOD, AND FEAR HIM, AND KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS, AND OBEY HIS VOICE, AND YE SHALL SERVE HIM, AND CLEAVE UNTO HIM.
[Deuteronomy 13:5] AND THAT PROPHET, OR THAT DREAMER OF DREAMS, SHALL BE PUT TO DEATH; BECAUSE HE HATH SPOKEN TO TURN YOU AWAY FROM THE LORD YOUR GOD, WHICH BROUGHT YOU OUT OF THE LAND OF EGYPT, AND REDEEMED YOU OUT OF THE HOUSE OF BONDAGE, TO THRUST THEE OUT OF THE WAY WHICH THE LORD THY GOD COMMANDED THEE TO WALK IN. SO SHALT THOU PUT THE EVIL AWAY FROM THE MIDST OF THEE.
[Deuteronomy 13:6] IF THY BROTHER, THE SON OF THY MOTHER, OR THY SON, OR THY DAUGHTER, OR THE WIFE OF THY BOSOM, OR THY FRIEND, WHICH IS AS THINE OWN SOUL, ENTICE THEE SECRETLY, SAYING, LET US GO AND SERVE OTHER GODS, WHICH THOU HAST NOT KNOWN, THOU, NOR THY FATHERS;
This passage continues and says that even if a member of your family who you love more than anyone else should come with such a message they too face capital punishment and you must bring them to justice (Deuteronomy 13:7-13:11).
[Deuteronomy 13:7] NAMELY, OF THE GODS OF THE PEOPLE WHICH ARE ROUND ABOUT YOU, NIGH UNTO THEE, OR FAR OFF FROM THEE, FROM THE ONE END OF THE EARTH EVEN UNTO THE OTHER END OF THE EARTH;
[Deuteronomy 13:8] THOU SHALT NOT CONSENT UNTO HIM, NOR HEARKEN UNTO HIM; NEITHER SHALL THINE EYE PITY HIM, NEITHER SHALT THOU SPARE, NEITHER SHALT THOU CONCEAL HIM:
[Deuteronomy 13:9] BUT THOU SHALT SURELY KILL HIM; THINE HAND SHALL BE FIRST UPON HIM TO PUT HIM TO DEATH, AND AFTERWARDS THE HAND OF ALL THE PEOPLE.
[Deuteronomy 13:10] AND THOU SHALT STONE HIM WITH STONES, THAT HE DIE; BECAUSE HE HATH SOUGHT TO THRUST THEE AWAY FROM THE LORD THY GOD, WHICH BROUGHT THEE OUT OF THE LAND OF EGYPT, FROM THE HOUSE OF BONDAGE.
[Deuteronomy 13:11] AND ALL ISRAEL SHALL HEAR, AND FEAR, AND SHALL DO NO MORE ANY SUCH WICKEDNESS AS THIS IS AMONG YOU.
So too, we are warned not to apply religious principles from other religions to
that of the Almighty:
[Deuteronomy 12:30] TAKE HEED TO THYSELF THAT THOU BE NOT SNARED BY FOLLOWING THEM, AFTER THAT THEY BE DESTROYED FROM BEFORE THEE; AND THAT THOU ENQUIRE NOT AFTER THEIR GODS, SAYING, HOW DID THESE NATIONS SERVE THEIR GODS? EVEN SO WILL I DO LIKEWISE.
This message is part of the Bible. It is a central theme in Scripture. You may say that Christianity is not idolatry and in Jewish Law it is not -as far as a non-Jew is concerned. But for a Jew however more stringent standards are applied since Judah is bound by the law.
If you love your fellow man do not be a stumbling block. If you are NOT driving it may be permissible on a special occasion to drink a little but someone who is driving has to be more careful. A brain surgeon just before performing an operation needs to remain completely sober. The point is that not everybody is the same. Christianity may be an answer for some but Jews should be excluded from its attentions.
