Hello:
Without getting into any argument about your website http://www.britam.org/, there seem to be a lot of inaccuracies on there.
For example, you seem to be so focus on proving that Israelites are mostly white people to extent of blatantly lying to support that view.
Lets assume they are white, why don't you think some of them would have migrated into Africa and mix in with the population there.
The more I read this type of stuff, the more it tells me that instead of people focus on loving one another, they are so set on putting down others for whatever reason. Come on, God knows the truth, I am sure you not doing to this for him.
In summary, being objective its hard to prove today what the Israelites may have look liked in Origin, first of all they mixed up a lot during captivity etc.. I would not contend that they are purely one race today, either black or whitish.
Anyway, take care
Larkland

Brit-Am Reply:
Our article on Lost Israelites being white people is one article out of more
than a thousand.
We have another two or three articles along the same lines but that still leaves
a lot more concerning other matters.
It is true however that these articles are consistently amongst the
most-frequently viewed on our site.
This is because others (including yourself evidently) have an interest in the
subject.
You claim we are "blatantly lying", please be specific.
What points exactly do you consider untrue?
We never denied the possibility that some Israelites or Judeans went to Africa
and assimilated there.
You will find references to this possibility in our writings though admittedly
it is something we do not emphasize.
For example,
Brit-Am Now no. 1330: The Lost Tribes of Israel
http://britam.org/now/1330Now.html#Dan
#5. Dan in Africa?
#Elements from Dan may have gone to Ethiopia and other parts of Africa.#
[This example we picked out at random but if you have to time to go through
findings from our on-line Brit-Am site search engine
http://www.britam.org/SearchEngines.html
You will probably find quite a few additional examples.]
We do not intend to put down anyone.
Our understanding of Scripture is that the Lost Ten Tribes will be mainly be
CONCENTRATED amongst certain peoples.
We identify these peoples.
They happen to be mostly white now no matter what you may wish to say they were
originally.
[We believe they were mostly white then too but as you say it does not matter
that much.]
In addition to all this both these Israelite Peoples and the Jews of Judah (some
of whom are definitely not white, while others are)
are in danger.
Amongst the forces endangering them are included Muslims and foreign peoples and
others many of whom are colored.
Brit-Am does not consider itself a racist organization and is not generally so
considered by others.
We have an article against Discrimination on the front page of our site
displayed just as prominently as the other articles,
see:
The Black Woman.
Color Prejudice Condemned by the Torah
http://www.britam.org/CushiteWoman.html
We are also active in condemning and countering the claims of racist
white-supremacy Identity types.
We have received threats from these peoples as well as from Muslims and others.
We are not prejudiced and quite prepared to take on everybody if necessary.
"We
believe in the literal gathering of Israel and in the restoration of the Ten
Tribes; that Zion (the New Jerusalem) will be built upon the American continent;
that Christ will reign
pesonally
upon the earth; and the the earth will be renewed and receive its paradisiacal
glory." (Articles of Faith, # 10)
The majority of the members of the church today believe that they are of the
lineage of Joseph through Ephraim and also Manassah. However, other tribes are
increasingly coming into the church.
