1. DISCUSSION: The Return of "Ephraim"
http://britam.org/Return.html#DISCUSSION
SELECTED MINUTES OF MEETING OF OCTOBER 13, 2006
An informal meeting was held October 13th, 2006 between supporters of Brit Am and others to discuss efforts to realize the infusion of Joes or Ephraimites into the land of Israel, and concerning reunion/communion with Judah.
2. General Brit-Am Meeting to be held soon
A General Meeting in Jerusalem of Brit-Am with the Public should be held shortly.
The Meeting will consist of an explanation of Brit-Am beliefs emphasizing
Scripture followed by discussion of whatever pertinent issues those
present wish to pursue.
Whoever wishes to attend may do so
the one stipulation being that at this particular meeting we do not wish to debate
basic Brit-Am beliefs and that all discussion be relevant.
3. Results of Recent Brit-Am Appeal
Recently we made an appeal of funds adding to our PayPal
Contributions box an additional box marked
"Offerings dedicated to spreading the Brit-Am message to Judah
JUDAH OUTREACH"
So far this box has received one offering (sic) for three dollars(sic)
and no more.
The general Contributions Box has received nothing at all.
NEVERTHELESS, we sold a few publications (though less than usual)
and we have received some offerings through other avenues.
This is keeping us going.
Brit-Am is grateful for the assistance it has received.
We would perhaps not be in the present predicament where it not for
the fact that a few regular contributors who used to offer us more serious
assistance have for the moment ceased to do so.
Perhaps this is temporary. Perhaps not.
Brit-Am is continuing to do its part as well as it can.
Please help Brit-Am through offerings, purchase of our
publications and spreading the message, everyone as they can.
4. Charlotte Mecklenburg: The Key Lies with Judah
Subject: Re: "Brit-Am Now"-791
Dear Yair,
I went to Steve Mathe web page and wrote a response to him and he asked me to send it to Brit-am.
Dear Steve,
"Only Torah and prayer, will unite the ten tribes and Judah." That must be looking at it from our perspective. From God's perspective, he says he will do it. I read your article on the website about the priority of having only one God, or putting away all gods. That is very good, for sure we need to do that if we are to enter the land, however, who is the judge of whether that has been done sufficiently. I know only God himself would be able to see into individual's hearts and know they have only one God and that is himself. I am not sure what the proposal is after all is said and done that is going to open the door for the tribes to enter the land. It still seems like no matter how ready people are it depends on Judah saying it can happen. Zechariah 9 says he will bend Judah his bow and I feel that is what we are waiting on. Meanwhile, spiritual growth is always a good thing and that can happen where ever we are. Thank you for your contribution of discussion to Brit-am.
Charlotte Mecklenburg
Brit-Am Reply: We agree with both of you.
Nevertheless before Judah can decide to agree or disagree
he should know what you are talking about.
The same applies concerning MOST of Joseph.
First let them know.
Let they who are so led can then share our inner conviction and intellectual appreciations of these matters.
Let the others at least be aware that these opinions exists.
This in itself could create a dynamism.
The more who understand this message the greater the potential for
an increased understanding by US ALL.

#2. "The United States and Britain in Bible Prophecy"
http://www.gnmagazine.org/booklets/US/US.pdf
(Christian Perspective introduced towards the end of a long but worthwhile
article).
This is a very excellent article. Though I am a Baptist and I am not too
much a fan of the Religious Organization that produced it, I am amazed that
it has so much of what I believe, and many Baptists believe (not the
reformed ones who still have a problem in their eschatology and ecclesiology
and therefore have a replacement theology error in these areas - though I
myself have a Reformed perspective in other doctrines including on matters
of election and predestination).
I understand the need for Jewish people like Yair who feel a responsibility
to their religion and I do appreciate that in spite of this, he appreciates
the Christian people who recognize Judah's role in the re-gathering of
Israel (God will save the tents of Judah first in the land). At the same
time their is a portion of Christianity which argues strongly for the
importance of Judah being in the land, and in the prophecy of Revelation,
there is even a hint that the twelve tribes identification will be important
in the surviving individual Christians after the Church Age ends and the
final seven years of history before the final restoration occurs with the
Messiah coming to and on Earth.
I believe that BRIT-AM in its singular purpose to provide evidence of who
the lost tribes are IS an important infrastructure that could be used in the
last days. That is why I continue to support it (though more in the terms
of good will than financial until I get back on my financial feet).
Nevertheless, I will be looking forward to that time when I can put more
feet into where my mouth is leading me (and somehow try not to get mouth and
feet tripped up if out of their natural elements).
Stephen Hale from Midland, Texas
Brit-Am Comment: We agree that the article is worthwhile.
It is a pity that it is in pdf format.
PDF is difficult to read and difficult to copy and quote extracts.
Writers and publishers should encourage others to
quote short extracts (with acknowledgements) since that is
how the message is spread. This is the age of the internet
and the old safeguards are less pertinent that they once were.
6. The Brit-Am Knowledge Campaign
Every time you read something from Brit-Am or a similar source about
Brit-Am time themes you are doing something to hasten the Redemption
of all Israel. Knowledge of the Truth is the most important issue at present.
Help spread this knowledge.
Did you read something on a Brit-Am posting or article you thought worthwhile?
Perhaps there was something that struck you as worth noting
in the Brit-Am Biblical Proofs?
Copy and paste it (preferably with acknowledgement of its source)
and send it out to others whom you think might appreciate it.
Perhaps build up your own little mailing list for such purposes.
Be involved. Contribute good knowledge to others.
If you have a web site of your own as far as Brit-Am is concerned
you may take whole article that you think are worthwhile from our site
and post them on your own, again preferably while acknowledging
the source and providing a link to it.
7. Abortion is forbidden
In some cases people are faced with difficult choices.
We are not coming to judge anyone.
Nevertheless studies show that when women are tempted
to abort their fetuses and do not do so in nearly every case they
are later glad of their decision.
The general permissiveness of our society causes many human tragedies
and results in the vulnerable doing things against their will.
Abortion is forbidden by the Bible and against the good
of humanity. This should be made known.
From the Brit-Am Commentary to Genesis
http://britam.org/Genesis/Gen6to11Noach.html
[Genesis 9:5] AND SURELY YOUR BLOOD OF YOUR LIVES WILL I REQUIRE; AT THE HAND OF EVERY BEAST WILL I REQUIRE IT, AND AT THE HAND OF MAN; AT THE HAND OF EVERY MAN'S BROTHER WILL I REQUIRE THE LIFE OF MAN.
If disasters come upon mankind it is sometimes due to manslaughter, infanticide, or abortions. This is a cause of insect borne diseases and other pestilences.
[Genesis 9:6] WHOSO SHEDDETH MAN'S BLOOD, BY MAN SHALL HIS BLOOD BE SHED: FOR IN THE IMAGE OF GOD MADE HE MAN.
This verse has several applications.
The death penalty should exist for extreme cases of murder except in exceptional circumstance. Studies in the UK and probably also elsewhere show that abolition of the death penalty has increased the number of murders committed.
"WHOEVER SHEDS THE BLOOD OF MAN, BY MAN SHALL HIS BLOOD BE SHED" is also understandable in the Hebrew as saying,
"WHOEVER SHEDS THE BLOOD OF MAN WITHIN A MAN, HIS BLOOD SHALL BE SHED (Genesis 9:6), i.e. whoever kills a human foetus!
The Hebrew has "Whoever kills a man by a man ("ba-Adam" also meaning "in a man") his blood shall be spilt", meaning either that the killer shall be killed "by means of a man" (The prefix "ba" or "bi" in Hebrew being similar to the English "by") or that anyone who kills a man "inside of" a man (i.e. a human foetus) shall be killed. Both meanings were understood by the Rabbis to be applicable and not contradictory but rather complementary.
[Genesis 9:7] AND YOU, BE YE FRUITFUL, AND MULTIPLY; BRING FORTH ABUNDANTLY IN THE EARTH, AND MULTIPLY THEREIN.
