Prayer of King Manasseh Represents Repentance of People of Menasseh!
Shalom Yair,
I hope this finds you doing well.
I was intrigued recently to find that some believe Manasseh would lead the 10 home. Besides the general belief that the US is Manasseh, I believe the Almighty has been teaching me to identify with Manasseh. (I am US citizen)
Over the last couple of years, I believe the Almighty has been leading me to pray the Prayer of Manasseh. I know that this prayer is generally attributed to King Manasseh, but I'm wondering if it might be a prophetic prayer of sorts for the day the lost will begin the journey Home. The words seem to fit with the possibility. When praying it, I sometimes feel I'm speaking on behalf of more than just myself. What do you guys think? Feel free to handle my query/email address in any manner you see fit.

Manasseh was the son of king Hezekiah of Judah.
In our BAC (Brit-Am Commentary) we opined that Menasseh had been named in honor of the Tribe of Menasseh and the Ten Tribes the last of whom had been exiled in the time of Hezekiah.

The Tribe of Manasseh had been one of the leading tribes and perhaps in practice it had been the most important, even more than Ephraim.
Hezekiah named his son and heir to his throne in remembrance of the Ten Tribes of Israel.
Your suggestion that King Manasseh serve as somehow allegorical of the Tribe of Manasseh in the future
is worth considering:

12 Now when he was in affliction, he implored the LORD his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers, 13 and prayed to Him; and He received his entreaty, heard his supplication, and brought him back to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the LORD was God.

Perhaps the most important factor explaining why the USA supports Israel to the degree that it does is the belief in God and the Bible shared by many mainstream Americans. The State of Israel is identified with Biblical Promises and the Bible Message. Loyalty to Israel means Keeping faith with the Almighty. God is a Zionist. HE says so in the Bible.
Both sides paid the price and received the reward for the choices they subconsciously had made.
In the future they will re-unite and each will benefit from the achievements of the other.
Joseph and Judah need each other.
The USA Needs the State of Israel just as Israel needs the USA.
The Rabbi [Sefat Emet] also used the ceremonial costume of the High Priest in the Temple Service to explain an aspect of Joseph. The High Priest wore a Breast-Plate which had 12 different precious stones. Each stone represented one of the 12 Tribes of Israel. The stones were attached to a square piece of linen cloth (Ephod). The bottom part of the Ephod was secured by blue cords wrapped around the back of the High Priest. The top part of the Ephod was bound by gold chain-cords to the shoulders by shoulder-pieces. Embedded in each should-piece was a shoham stone. on each shoham stone was to be engrave the names of 6 of the Tribes. The shoham stone was also the precious stone of Joseph in the breast-plate. The Rabbi (quoted below) learned that the names of all the Tribes were engraved in shoham stones on the shoulder pieces because Joseph (represented by the shoham) unifies all of the Tribes.

Many of my friends had joined the RAF, mostly as air crew, and the loss of young life among this special group was horrendous. They had to be far fitter and far better educated than combatants in previous wars because of the very nature of the machines and weapons they were handling. Handling an aeroplane traveling at at least 100 miles an hour, and often much more, as well as attacking and evading attack at the same time, required a special type of brain and character and a hell of a lot of guts. They had to be better trained and educated than the enemy, who had had several years' head start. They actually had to be quicker in reaction than the enemy in order to survive. They were then the cream of British youth, and they had a type of courage the Germans did not have, which in the end caused the Germans to fail.
