Brit-Am Now no.1877 Ten out of the Twelve Tribes of Israel were exiled and lost their identity. Their descendants are now to be found amongst Western Peoples. They are the Lost Ten Tribes. This is proven from the Bible, Talmud, and Rabbinical Sources as well as from Secular Studies in Ancient History, Archaeology, Mythology, Linguistics, and related fields. In the notes below we bring news, queries, and updates related to these issues. This is a service provided by Brit-Am, Movement of the lost Ten Tribes of Israel. SCROLL DOWN! |

1. What May Brit-Am Offer the
Individual? Brit-Am is concerned with the Israelite Ancestry of Specific National Groups as a Whole. Through Brit-Am the individual may come to realize that they too are of Israelite Descent either through the Ten Tribes or via Judah. Very often this will confirm a feeling many already had. This is naturally important as part of our aim to enable such a realization to permeate the group. Nations, Peoples, and Tribes are comprised of individuals. What the individual feels will eventually affect others. Beyond that, this knowledge may help the individual draw closer to the Almighty and to Biblical Thought. We cannot promise you salvation. Nor can we solve all your problems. We may however be of some help. Chances are that through Brit-Am your being on this earth will feel and be better. Biblical Knowledge brings an inner happiness. cf. Psalms 4: 7 You have put gladness in my heart, More than in the season that their grain and wine increased. 2. Brit-Am Update. New Organization to be Set Up Alongside Brit-Am: Hebrew Nations. Brit-Am Update. (a) New Organization to be Set Up Alongside Brit-Am: Hebrew Nations. We propose to set up a new organization. It shall be named Hebrew Nations. Brit-Am, Movement of the Ten Tribes, will remain as it is. Hebrew Nations will exist alongside Brit-Am. It will be represented by a separate web-site. Reactions and suggestions are welcomed. We propose to maintain Brit-Am as a forum for the Movement of the Ten Tribes. Hebrew Nations may involve organization and active membership. Do you think Hebrew Nations should take any obligations upon themselves? What do you think in general about the idea? What would you like to see? Please write in. (b) Money is very difficult at present. We are going through yet another crisis on this matter. We do however sell books and subscribers do give offerings. There is income. It is not enough but it could become so. We hope to reach more people and also perhaps manage to put out more publications and sell them etc. This is what Brit-Am should do anyway i.e. work to spread the message. If it can be done it may also help reduce the financial pressure etc. (c) Google and Other Matters. The problem with our web site and Google is continuing. Our server may or may not be involved. The problem may eventually be solved. In the meantime we are improving the web-site at our end. We are doing what we can. One of my sons in his spare time is helping prepare an alternative web site which could have promise. One of my sons in his spare time is helping prepare an alternative web site which could have promise. If it was not for his sons and the help of others Yair Davidiy could not cope. Our subscribers and other individuals voluntarily render needed assistance from time to time. One could receive the impression that Brit-Am suffers from unnecessary impediments. Problems do arise, often quite frequently. Sometimes too often. Nevertheless overall we get by with the help of Heaven. Chances are that if anyone else tried to do what we have managed to do, for as long as we have done it, they might not make it. This is not a simple matter. We also have two other sites in operation. One is in Hebrew and the other in English. These were neglected in the past. We should fix them up. So that is the direction we are working at: Put the present site back in Google Search. Prepare other sites to variate the output. Prepare another site to run parallel to the present one. The new site is intended be more modern in design and and appearance. It should also be easier to operate and more Search Engine friendly. 3. A Misunderstanding Straightened Out. Letter from David Jackson followed by Clarification by Yair Davidiy. Response to Atlas Laster: Re Brit-Am Now no.1876 #3. Atlas Laster: Brit-Am Fulfills Need for Jewish Input. http://britam.org/now2/1876Now.html#3 ...Brit-Am has primarily been concerned with identifying the physical descendants of the 12 tribes of Israel and their role in the world today. Dave Jackson Keller, TX Brit-Am Reply: The e-mail from Atlas was in response to an e-mail from "A. - a friend" Re Brit-Am Now no. 1876 #3. Does Brit-Am Inadvertently Put Up Barriers to Christians? http://britam.org/now2/1875Now.html#3 The letter from Atlas may have led to misunderstandings. Let us make some order in the matter and if possible close the thread. You were all right. "A. - a friend" said he supports us but that we could give the wrong impression by not being sensitive to Christian sensibilities. Fair enough. Atlas Laster wished to say that Christians should be open to receive input from Jews. I think most would agree. Otherwise they would not be here. David Jackson says we should get back to talking about the Ten Tribes. True. That is what we shall do. On the whole Brit-Am does concentrate on the Ten Tribes. We also speak on Biblical matters in general but even then there is often some kind of Ten Tribes connection. Now and again we may inadvertently say something. Or we may post what someone else said that is out of line. We may not always notice in time. Or we may misunderstand. Or be misunderstood. This is almost unavoidable but we can keep trying. God willing things should work out. |
