Would that just not make things so much easier, Israel needs the Land and Egypt needs the money. Palestine needs a place where it's not surrounded on three sides by Israel. It would cost less in the long run for the UN and the World Bank to fund this than the cost of all these on going wars and security measures. We build the "New Palestine" first, a state of the art settlement using as much Egyptian and Palestinian Labor and Contractors as we can, then we ask them to move. If they refuse, we have a state of the art new settlement and have lost nothing. --David Brit-Am Reply: Andrew Shalom, Steven Shmarack has been writing on this matter for ages. He even set up, or tried to set up, a movement to re-settled the Palestinians in Sinai. It is impracticable: Egypt would not sell the Sinai. We do not need yet another Arab entity on the border with Israel. Sinai should belong to Israel. It is worth having. It is a strategic area and a source of wealth through minerals, oil, gas, tourism, recreation, air space, military training, and even agriculture in some areas. There may even be vast underground  reservoirs of water underneath it. It was a tragic mistake on the part of Israel to surrender it to Egypt. I spend about six months there in my IDF service. Regarding Mark's comments, I had the honor to work all my working life within the British Common Law legal system. I am also familiar with the other "Civil Law Legal System" such as is practised in the USA. The whole body of our laws is peppered with the biblical scriptural base. I never ceased to be amazed as I encountered case after case, law after law the immediate reminder of scriptural verses I was aware of at the time. I took it as Abba [Father] telling me that he was in everything and in control of everything. The laws against sexual perversion, fraud, etc echoing the words that came out of the mouth of Abba. How sad it is for me to see these royal decrees being brought down and even thrown into the waste basket of history. How grand and righteous is our father and I cannot imagine his sadness, frustration and righteous anger. As one who loved the wisdom and justice of the laws can state that many others of our fellow workers felt the same as me. The US Constitution was a light to the world for a long time but is being subjugated by the enemy. Its framers were people who had respect for the scriptures, the word of Abba. Other nations were less fortunate and suffered more for the lack of scripturally based laws. May his righteous judgment and government come upon the world as soon as possible no matter what the cost. If Yisrael as the righteous example lifts up its game, not allow the partition of Eretz Yisrael, let alone Jerusalem (that would be the absolute abomination), and lead the world by example maybe other nations will put in governments who will fear, love and obey the [God] of Yisrael for a better world leading up to Moschiach taking the reigns. Truly if Yisrael were to go under then there is no hope for the rest of the world, except for Abba's direct intervention. May the [God] of Yisrael bless Yisrael, Jerusalem and brothers like you Yair who stand up for him in their varying capacities.
