Psalms 119-22-Tav
TAU
This section is termed TAU in the King James after the name of the last letter in the Hebrew Alphabet. In Modern Hebrew the name of  this letter is pronouced as "Tav".
This is the final section of  Psalm 119. The overall theme (repeated in every verse) of  Psalm 119 is the need to keep the Law and Commandments.
The sub-theme of this section is the request that God accept our service especially that of prayer and learning the commandments.

[Psalms 119:169] LET MY CRY COME NEAR BEFORE THEE, O LORD: GIVE ME UNDERSTANDING  ACCORDING TO THY WORD.
MY CRY. Hebrew "rinati" rendered by S.R. Hirsch as "outpourings of my spirit".
"Rinah" in Hebrew is usually taken to connote "exultation". We sometimes merit to give of ourselves though un uplifiting of the soul and to seek the Almighty. We ask God to accept this exultation of ours and to help us understand through learning the word of God in the Torah.

[Psalms 119:170] LET MY SUPPLICATION COME BEFORE THEE: DELIVER ME ACCORDING TO THY  WORD.
THY  WORD in Hebrew here is "Imrateca" which implies more "your saying" i.e. that which is said and established concerning YOU. God answers prayers. HE hears them.  We may not always understands HIS answers so we ask him to hear us according to our understanding.

[Psalms 119:171] MY LIPS SHALL UTTER PRAISE, WHEN THOU HAST TAUGHT ME THY STATUTES.
We want to know what we should do in order to serve God as we should.

[Psalms 119:172] MY TONGUE SHALL SPEAK OF THY WORD: FOR ALL THY COMMANDMENTS ARE  RIGHTEOUSNESS.
Once we understand we can speak about it and bear testimony. That is one of the reasons we want to know and understand.
MY TONGUE SHALL SPEAK OF THY WORD. In Hebrew this expression may also be understood as saying,
Load (i.e. prepare) my tongue to be able to speak of your sayings whose truth is well-known and established.

[Psalms 119:173] LET THINE HAND HELP ME; FOR I HAVE CHOSEN THY PRECEPTS.

[Psalms 119:174] I HAVE LONGED FOR THY SALVATION, O LORD; AND THY LAW IS MY DELIGHT.
To know God and to understand the Torah is reward enough in itself.

[Psalms 119:175] LET MY SOUL LIVE, AND IT SHALL PRAISE THEE; AND LET THY JUDGMENTS HELP  ME.
Give me life, vitality, and the ability to live a reasonable life in order that I may do YOUR will and be always guided by YOUR decisions.

[Psalms 119:176] I HAVE GONE ASTRAY LIKE A LOST SHEEP; SEEK THY SERVANT; FOR I DO NOT  FORGET THY COMMANDMENTS.
I made mistakes and strayed from the straight path but help me because in my heart I never forgot YOUR will.
