Psalm 133
A SONG OF DEGREES OF DAVID
[Psalms 133:1] BEHOLD, HOW GOOD AND HOW PLEASANT IT IS FOR BRETHREN TO DWELL TOGETHER IN  UNITY!

This Psalm is about family, friendship, and unity.
It is good i.e. something of value, to be strived after and it is pleasant, i.e. enjoyable and nice to be together with members of your family and those who are close to you. At least that is how things should be and what we should want to be and do what we can that so it will be.
Let us get together and be friends with each other.
I am not saying we must love our enemies but at the least we should avoid disliking our friends.
Charity begins at home.
Do not reject those who are close to you.
Be at one with your family as a first consideration.
After that you may also be kind to strangers.
Friends and family should endeavor to get together in amicable surroundings with the intention to be friendly towards each other and renew the sense of connection.
We need to unite. Families should stay together, avoid offending others especially family and friends.
Judah and Joseph should learn to identify with each other.
Knowledge of who "Joseph" (the Lost Ten Tribes) is may be an important step in that direction.
Brit-Am works towards the goal of unity and ultimate unification.
By helping and identifying with Brit-Am you will be furthering the cause of unity between the two halves of the Hebrew Nation. Let us begin to think positively of each other.

[Psalms 133:2] IT IS LIKE THE PRECIOUS OINTMENT UPON THE HEAD, THAT RAN DOWN UPON THE  BEARD, EVEN AARON'S BEARD: THAT WENT DOWN TO THE SKIRTS OF HIS GARMENTS;
This OINTMENT is the Oil of Consecration.
With this oil Aaron was consecrated as the first High Priest of all Israel.
The oil served as anointment, as both a tool and indication of Divine Favor and an Enabling to reach out and communicate with thr Almighty.
Unity, friendship, brotherly love, fraternity, all can have the same effect.
It should encompass us, cover us over, be the dominant aspect of our behavior towards others.
All of us often experience problems in getting along with us.
We are misunderstood. We misunderstand our colleagues. We inadvertently offend others or we take offence where it is most likely that no offence was intended.
Being friendly does not mean that we have to tolerate disrespectful behavior or bad attitudes in others
but it does mean that we should endeavor to make allowance for shortcomings in people we are in contact with.  We should be positive towards ourselves towards others.

[Psalms 133:3] AS THE DEW OF HERMON, AND AS THE DEW THAT DESCENDED UPON THE MOUNTAINS OF ZION: FOR THERE THE LORD COMMANDED THE BLESSING, EVEN LIFE FOR  EVERMORE.
HERMON is a mountain in the north of Israel near the present border with Syria. It is a winter-time sky resort. It is a place where moisture is plentiful.
THE MOUNTAINS OF ZION This means Jerusalem and the religious instruction that emanated from it in Ancient Times, knowledge and love for the Almighty going out to all the earth.
The Prophets had a positive attitude towards their Israelite brethren and also towards others peoples.
So too in the Geographical sense.
THE MOUNTAINS OF ZION are part of the Mountain Range of Judah and Samaria which in the Biblical  Era was the center of the Israelite nation.
Nowadays the USA is trying to prevent Jews from building homes there. This is against Tribal unity. It is an anti-Israelite policy. It should not be. Jews should be encouraged and assisted to build in Judah and Samaria. This is for the good of all Israel.
We should all want increased Jewish settlement on the West Bank.
It is part of the task of Joseph to help Judah settle and conquer the Holy Land.
Joseph should realize who he is and what his task is.

Concerning THE DEW THAT DESCENDED UPON THE MOUNTAINS OF ZION:
In Israel in general and especially in the mountains of Judah and Samaria dew is very plentiful. Dew is moisture in the air without rain.  It is present especially in the mornings.  One can go out and walk around for a few minutes and then when returning home suddenly realize that all your clothes have been soaked through. Dew is cool and invigorating. Dew gives life and vitality. So can friendship and unity.  Reach out for it, value it, do not take it for granted.
May the Almighty guide us to be friends to our family and friends and that there be unity and recognition between Judah and Joseph. This is what Brit-Am works for. So should you. Support Brit-Am and you will be playing a role in the striving for unity that Brit-Am promotes.
