1. The term "Brit-Am"
In Hebrew "Brit-Am" means literally “A COVENANT OF THE PEOPLE”
Isaiah uses this term twice:
[Isaiah 42:6] I THE LORD HAVE CALLED THEE IN RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND WILL HOLD THINE HAND, AND WILL
KEEP THEE, AND GIVE THEE FOR
A COVENANT OF THE
PEOPLE [Hebrew: "BRIT-AM"], FOR A LIGHT OF THE
GENTILES;
Israel will be a “Brit-Am”. In the Middle Ages Britain sometimes referred to herself as
“Britammia”. The Welsh called themselves, “Bryth y Brithan”, or Briths of Brithan.
In Biblical Hebrew “brith” means “covenant.
The Malbim says that “Brit-Am” means Israel.
This is why we chose “Brit-Am for our organization. “Brit-Am” represents the Lost Ten Tribes returning. Other reasons
were that “Brit-Am” hints at Britain from whom many of those to whom we direct our message originate. Our friend
Cecil Davis pointed out that “Brit-Am” can also be understand as a shortened way of saying “Britain and America”.
“A LIGHT OF THE GENTILES” On the whole the Lost Ten Tribes have instructed and enlightened other nations.
[Isaiah 49:8] THUS SAITH THE LORD, IN AN ACCEPTABLE TIME HAVE I HEARD THEE, AND IN A DAY OF
SALVATION HAVE I HELPED THEE: AND I WILL PRESERVE THEE, AND GIVE THEE FOR
A COVENANT OF THE PEOPLE "BRIT-AM"], TO ESTABLISH THE EARTH, TO CAUSE TO INHERIT THE DESOLATE
HERITAGES;
The Lost Tribes headed by Joseph were to become "A Covenant of the People" [Hebrew: "BRIT-AM" i.e. Britain, or Britain and America], to establish the earth [or in the
Hebrew: "to found a country", e.g. the U.S.A., the State of Israel], to cause to inherit the desolate heritages".
"Desolate heritages” relatively speaking were the regions of North America, Australia and New Zealand, and South
Africa before the nations here spoken of colonized them. Also, on a long-term geo-political and economical level the
Zionist-Jewish re-settlement of part of the Land of Israel was made possible (like and/or believe it or not), in some
measure, due to the policies of Britain (sic!) and America!!
We decided to examine the expression "Brit-Am" in the Brit-Am Bible Codes.
2. Brit-Am and the Assyrian Exile
BRITAM (white on green) is spelt at equidistant intervals of 72. It is taken from 1-Chronicles 5:23-29.
[1-Chronicles 5:23] AND THE CHILDREN OF THE HALF TRIBE OF MANASSEH DWELT IN THE LAND: THEY INCREASED FROM BASHAN [Hebrew: "BaShaN"] UNTO BAALHERMON AND SENIR, AND UNTO MOUNT HERMON.
[1-Chronicles 5:24] AND THESE WERE THE HEADS OF THE HOUSE OF THEIR FATHERS, EVEN EPHER, AND ISHI, AND ELIEL, AND AZRIEL, AND JEREMIAH, AND HODAVIAH, AND JAHDIEL, MIGHTY MEN OF VALOUR, FAMOUS MEN, AND HEADS OF THE HOUSE OF THEIR FATHERS.
[1-Chronicles 5:25] AND THEY TRANSGRESSED AGAINST THE GOD OF THEIR FATHERS, AND WENT A WHORING AFTER THE GODS OF THE PEOPLE OF THE LAND, WHOM GOD DESTROYED BEFORE THEM.
[1-Chronicles 5:26] AND THE GOD OF ISRAEL STIRRED UP THE SPIRIT OF PUL KING OF ASSYRIA, AND THE SPIRIT OF TILGATHPILNESER KING OF ASSYRIA, AND HE CARRIED THEM AWAY, EVEN THE REUBENITES, AND THE GADITES, AND THE HALF TRIBE OF MANASSEH, AND BROUGHT THEM UNTO HALAH, AND HABOR, AND HARA, AND TO THE RIVER GOZAN, UNTO THIS DAY.
The Matrix begins with Manasseh in Bashan and continues through with the Assyrian King Tiglathpileser exiling the two and a half tribes east of the Jordan to places on the outskirts of the Assyrian Empire.
3. The "Covenant" With Assyria
Prior to being exiled the Northern Kingdom (referred to in general terms as "Ephraim") tried to come to terms to Assyria and this in itself may ultimately have led to the Exile. These Biblical Codes we are employing are based on the idea of relating to the Script of Scripture as if no intervals existed and according to Nachmanides in the beginning Torah scrolls were so written as explained in the
Introduction. So too, we find BRITAM at an interval of 1 only.
[Hosea 12:1] EPHRAIM FEEDETH ON WIND, AND FOLLOWETH AFTER THE EAST WIND: HE DAILY INCREASETH LIES AND DESOLATION; AND THEY DO MAKE
A COVENANT [Hebrew: BRIT] WITH [Hebrew: IM] THE ASSYRIANS, AND OIL IS CARRIED INTO EGYPT.
In the above case the Hebrew expression "
Brit-Im" (i.e. a covenant with") uses the same letters as "
BRIT-AM" so by eliminating the intervals instead of reading it as "a covenant with" [
BRIT-IM] we may read it as
BRITAM!)
Ephraim is to be exiled to the west. That is what it means by "FOLLOWETH AFTER THE EAST WIND" since the east wind blows from the east to the west. This is repeated in Hosea 11:10-11 and in Isaiah 24:14-15 49:12. See Brit-Am Proofs:

4. England, Brit-Am, and Moab?
(a) England and Moab
Most of our results for ANGLIA (see "
England in the Codes") either confirmed Israelite Brit-Am Identity or dealt with other matters. One exception did occur as we also find MOAB in connection with Anglia as seen and explained below:
Extracted from Isaiah 15:9-16:10. The first two illustrations show the word ANGLIA at a regular ELS sequence of 73 and ANGLIA at an ELS of 93 with both sequences found within the same passages and both times beginning with the equivalent of the "A" letter in MOAB. The second illustration is merely a close-up detail from the first. The third merely shows the relevant Hebrew text with letters forming ANGLIA at 73 and ANGLIA at 93 highlighted with each example beginning with the "A" letter in the name MOAB, i.e. MOAB and MOAB.
The last picture shows a detail from the matrix for ANGLIA at intervals of 73. MOAB is prominent and is shown three times. Beginning from the top we have THE BORDER OFMOAB, THE REFUGEE(S) OF MOAB, and THE DAUGHTERS OF [BeNOT] MOAB.
The word for LION (ARYEH, green on cyan) is shown twice and the word for the pagan god BAAL (white on mauve) occurs twice. SIBMA i.e. SHIBMAH in the Territory of Reuben, Numbers 32:38 (white on green) but apparently conquered by Moab is also seen twice.
[Isaiah 15:9] FOR THE WATERS OF DIMON SHALL BE FULL OF BLOOD: FOR I WILL BRING MORE UPON DIMON, LIONS UPON HIM THAT ESCAPETH OF MOAB, AND UPON THE REMNANT OF THE LAND.
[Isaiah 16:1] SEND YE THE LAMB TO THE RULER OF THE LAND FROM SELA TO THE WILDERNESS, UNTO THE MOUNT OF THE DAUGHTER OF ZION.
[Isaiah 16:2] FOR IT SHALL BE, THAT, AS A WANDERING BIRD CAST OUT OF THE NEST, SO THE DAUGHTERS OF MOAB SHALL BE AT THE FORDS OF ARNON.
[Isaiah 16:3] TAKE COUNSEL, EXECUTE JUDGMENT; MAKE THY SHADOW AS THE NIGHT IN THE MIDST OF THE NOONDAY; HIDE THE OUTCASTS; BEWRAY NOT HIM THAT WANDERETH.
[Isaiah 16:4] LET MINE OUTCASTS DWELL WITH THEE, MOAB; BE THOU A COVERT TO THEM FROM THE FACE OF THE SPOILER: FOR THE EXTORTIONER IS AT AN END, THE SPOILER CEASETH, THE OPPRESSORS ARE CONSUMED OUT OF THE LAND.
[Isaiah 16:5] AND IN MERCY SHALL THE THRONE BE ESTABLISHED: AND HE SHALL SIT UPON IT IN TRUTH IN THE TABERNACLE OF DAVID, JUDGING, AND SEEKING JUDGMENT, AND HASTING RIGHTEOUSNESS.
[Isaiah 16:6] WE HAVE HEARD OF THE PRIDE OF MOAB; HE IS VERY PROUD: EVEN OF HIS HAUGHTINESS, AND HIS PRIDE, AND HIS WRATH: BUT HIS LIES SHALL NOT BE SO.
[Isaiah 16:7] THEREFORE SHALL MOAB HOWL FOR MOAB, EVERY ONE SHALL HOWL: FOR THE FOUNDATIONS OF KIRHARESETH SHALL YE MOURN; SURELY THEY ARE STRICKEN.
[Isaiah 16:8] FOR THE FIELDS OF HESHBON LANGUISH, AND THE VINE OF SIBMAH: THE LORDS OF THE HEATHEN HAVE BROKEN DOWN THE PRINCIPAL PLANTS THEREOF, THEY ARE COME EVEN UNTO JAZER, THEY WANDERED THROUGH THE WILDERNESS: HER BRANCHES ARE STRETCHED OUT, THEY ARE GONE OVER THE SEA.
[Isaiah 16:9] THEREFORE I WILL BEWAIL WITH THE WEEPING OF JAZER THE VINE OF SIBMAH: I WILL WATER THEE WITH MY TEARS, O HESHBON, AND ELEALEH: FOR THE SHOUTING FOR THY SUMMER FRUITS AND FOR THE HARVEST IS FALLEN.
[Isaiah 16:10] AND GLADNESS IS TAKEN AWAY, AND JOY OUT OF THE PLENTIFUL FIELD; AND IN THE VINEYARDS THERE SHALL BE NO SINGING, NEITHER SHALL THERE BE SHOUTING: THE TREADERS SHALL TREAD OUT NO WINE IN THEIR PRESSES; I HAVE MADE THEIR VINTAGE SHOUTING TO CEASE.
4. England, Brit-Am, and Moab?
(b) Brit-Am and Moab
In the matrix above at a sequence of 52 BRITAM (white on blue) is vertically aligned in reverse order . The word begins at the bottom of the matrix with the "B" in the expression "Princes of MoaB" (white on maroon) forming the first "B" of BRITAM going upwards. The final "M" in BRITAM at the top is the first "M" of MOAB also in the REPEATED expression "Princes of MoaB" (Hebrew: SaRI MOAB).
The relevant verse are from Numbers 22:8-14.
[Numbers 22:8] AND HE SAID UNTO THEM, LODGE HERE THIS NIGHT, AND I WILL BRING YOU WORD AGAIN, AS THE LORD SHALL SPEAK UNTO ME: AND THE PRINCES OF MOAB [Hebrew: SaRIMOAB ABODE WITH BALAAM.
[Numbers 22:9] AND GOD CAME UNTO BALAAM, AND SAID, WHAT MEN ARE THESE WITH THEE?
[Numbers 22:10] AND BALAAM SAID UNTO GOD, BALAK THE SON OF ZIPPOR, KING OF MOAB, HATH SENT UNTO ME, SAYING,
[Numbers 22:11] BEHOLD, THERE IS A PEOPLE COME OUT OF EGYPT, WHICH COVERETH THE [Hebrew: ET] FACE OF THE EARTH: COME NOW, CURSE ME THEM; PERADVENTURE I SHALL BE ABLE TO OVERCOME THEM, AND DRIVE THEM OUT.
[Numbers 22:12] AND GOD [Hebrew: ELoHIM] SAID UNTO BALAAM, THOU SHALT NOT GO WITH THEM; THOU SHALT NOT CURSE THE PEOPLE: FOR THEY ARE BLESSED.
[Numbers 22:13] AND BALAAM ROSE UP IN THE MORNING, AND SAID [Hebrew: VaYoMeR] UNTO THE PRINCES OF BALAK, GET YOU INTO YOUR LAND: FOR THE LORD REFUSETH TO GIVE ME LEAVE TO GO WITH YOU.
[Numbers 22:14] AND THE PRINCES OF PRINCES OF MOAB [Hebrew: MOAB] ROSE UP, AND THEY WENT UNTO BALAK, AND SAID, BALAAM REFUSETH TO COME WITH US.
Reading from the bottom to the top the letters in white on blue spell Brit-Am at intervals in the Hebrew Script of 52.
We thus have 4. (b) the "Princes of Moab" at the beginning and end of BRITAM which parallels our finding in 4. (a) Moab twice at the beginning of "Angliah", the word for England.

Genesis Rabah (Lech Lecha) 44;23:
<<Rabbi Chelbo in the name of Rabbi Abba in the name of Rabbi Yochanan, It was the intention of the Holy One to bequeath to Israel the Land of Ten Nations: THE KENITES, AND THE KENIZZITES, AND THE KADMONITES, [AND THE HITTITES, AND THE PERIZZITES, AND THE REPHAIMS, AND THE AMORITES, AND THE CANAANITES, AND THE GIRGASHITES, AND THE JEBUSITES] [Genesis 15:19-21] . [In practice] However, they were given only seven, THE HITTITES, AND THE GIRGASHITES, AND THE AMORITES, AND THE CANAANITES, AND THE PERIZZITES, AND THE HIVITES, AND THE JEBUSITES, SEVEN NATIONS GREATER AND MIGHTIER THAN THOU [Deuteronomy 7:1].
Who Were the Three Nations they did not receive?
Rabbi said: Arabia Shelmiah [Northern Syria], Darmaskot [Northern Damascus], and Asia [Lydia in Western Turkey].
Rabbi Shimeon ben Yochai said: Darmaskot [Northern Damascus-Syria], and Asia [Lydia], and Espamia [Spain] .
Rabbi Elazar ben Yaacob said: Asia [Lydia], Trakia [Thrace], and Kartagenia [Carthage in North Africa].
The Rabbis said: Edom [i.e. Esau], and Moab, and the First Strength of the Children of Amon.
These are the three that were not given unto them in this world:
Edom as it says, FOR I WILL NOT GIVE YOU OF THEIR LAND, NO, NOT SO MUCH AS A FOOT BREADTH; BECAUSE I HAVE GIVEN MOUNT SEIR UNTO ESAU FOR A POSSESSION [Deuteronomy 2:5].
Regarding Moab it says, DISTRESS NOT THE MOABITES, NEITHER CONTEND WITH THEM IN BATTLE: [FOR I WILL NOT GIVE THEE OF THEIR LAND FOR A POSSESSION] [Deuteronomy 2:9].
[Regarding the Ammonites, it says:
[Deuteronomy 2:19] AND WHEN THOU COMEST NIGH OVER AGAINST THE CHILDREN OF AMMON, DISTRESS THEM NOT, NOR MEDDLE WITH THEM: FOR I WILL NOT GIVE THEE OF THE LAND OF THE CHILDREN OF AMMON ANY POSSESSION; BECAUSE I HAVE GIVEN IT UNTO THE CHILDREN OF LOT FOR A POSSESSION.]
THE KENIZZITES are part of Esau.
THE KENITES AND THE KADMONITES are part of Amon and Moab.
In the Messianic Era however the situation will be reversed and they will be given to Israel to fulfill the word of the Holy One. For the present the Holy One gave them only the Land of the Seven Nations as it says, SEVEN NATIONS GREATER AND MIGHTIER THAN THOU [Deuteronomy 7:1]. >>

Commentary "Maharzo": cf. [Daniel 11:41] HE SHALL ENTER ALSO INTO THE GLORIOUS LAND, AND MANY COUNTRIES SHALL BE OVERTHROWN: BUT THESE SHALL ESCAPE OUT OF HIS HAND, EVEN EDOM, AND MOAB, AND THE CHIEF OF THE CHILDREN OF AMMON.
Explanation: Abraham was promised the Lands of Ten Nations. As the inheritors of the Promises to Abraham Israel should also have received these ten nations. We find however that Israel received only seven. The other three were taken by Edom, Ammon, and Moab. In the future Israel will also inherit their lands. Who are they? We saw that the Sages offered a variety of opinions. The different identifications however are not necessarily contradicting each other but rather complementary and forming a composite picture.
For our purposes Moab is included and Moab appears to parallel Spain (Espamia). It is not so far-fetched to realize that many of the early inhabitants of Spain were Canaanites from Phoenicia and North Africa intermingled with descendants of Moab.
How does all this fit in with Moab in Angliah and Brit-Am?
We do not know but the population of Britain could well contain Moabite elements that may be especially prevalent amongst the aristocracy since we saw that the combination was with "THE PRINCES OF MOAB".
Alternately another explanation will make itself known after increased study and research.
5. A Covenant With You!
The Hebrew Letters that spell "Brit-Am" (Covenant of the People") also spell "BRIT-IM" ("A Covenant with") as we explained above.
We find this combination when the King of the Philistines requested to make a pact or covenant with Abraham.
[Genesis 26:28] AND THEY SAID, WE SAW CERTAINLY THAT THE LORD WAS WITH THEE: AND WE SAID, LET THERE BE NOW AN OATH BETWIXT US, EVEN BETWIXT US AND THEE, AND LET US MAKE A COVENANT WITH THEE [Hebrew: BRIT I(A)MeCHa];

6 (a) Brit-Am and the Children of Israel
At an interval of 126 from Exodus 39:7-21. Shows BRITAM (white on blue, vertical) intercepted at the top by "LeBNeIYISRaEL" (white on green) which means "Pertaining to the Children of Israel".
6 (b) Brit-Am and Jacob
Begins at Genesis 32:28 and ends at Genesis 33:19; interval of 245. .Shows BRITAM connected to YAACOV which is JACOB (blue on lime-green) and is repeated to the right. Remember the Union Jack (Jacob), the Scottish "Jock" (Jacob), and the American "Yank" which names also derive from Jacob as described in our Brit-Am Biblical Proof on the subject..
6 (c) Brit-Am and Abraham the Hebrew
BRITAM connected to IBeR meaning Hebrew. The early inhabitants of the British Isles were known as HIBERI meaning Hebrews. Also shows a connection Abraham and Sarah the begetters of the Hebrew People. Interval of 253. Genesis 11:9-12:5. Interestingly it begins with the "B" in BaBeL (Babylon) and ends with the "M " of ABRaM.
