Scotland in Brit-Am Bible Codes

In the article below we have examined the name "SCOTLAND" as transliterated into Hebrew Letters according to THREE different spelling possibilities. ALL OF THESE ARE LEGITIMATE ALTERNATIVES.

The Brit-Am Conclusions based on Biblical and Historical sources have been that Scotland was dominated by Israelites from the Tribes of Manasseh and Asher with possible input from other tribes including Ephraim and Judah. The results below only partly correspond with these conclusions but are worth considering.

1. Scotland, Benjamin, and Keren

At a sequence of 17673. Begins at Genesis 22:13 and ends at Exodus 26:14.
It shows SCOTLAND (white on blue) attached to the expression BENJAMIN THE BROTHER OF JOSEPH. To the right is the expression MIMITSRAYIM generally translated as "OUT OF EGYPT" an expression that occurs quite frequently with Brit-Am peoples. Just above is the name JACOB and the Scottish are nicknamed "Jock" which is a nickname for Jacob. Further up is the expression KARNOV i.e. "HIS HORNS". This is especially significant for SCOTLAND whose symbol included two UNICORNS. There was also the place-name KARNAYIM (two horns) east of the Jordan in the territory of Manasseh.
The word root KEREN" was important amongst the Israelites (half-tribe of Manasseh) east of the Jordan and quite frequent amongst the Ancient British especially those of Northern Scotland as explained in "The Tribes".

2. Scotland and David

The first example (no.1 above) examined SCOTLAND as spelt in Modern Hebrew. Up unto now we have usually found Modern Hebrew to give the most logical results. The names of foreign places in Modern Hebrew are determined by a Committee and based mainly on how the word sounds without taking into account the origin of the word. This system usually works but may not necessarily be always correct or enough to nulllify alternate spellings.

This and the next example (i.e. nos. 2 &3) looks at Scotland as it may have been spelt in Biblical Hebrew and according to the notion that the name "SCOT" is somehow linked with the Hebrew word "Succoth".

At a reverse sequence of 1194. SCOTLAND is joined at the top by DAVID.

3. Scotland, Caledonia, and Becher of Ephraim and Benjamin

At a reverse sequece of 1300. SCOTLAND is intersected at the top by CALEDONIA (spelt as "Caledona" with the "i" implied as may be allowed for in Hebrew) which was a name for Northern Scotland. Further down we have BECHER the name of a clan in both Ephraim (Numbers 26:35) and Benjamin (Genesis 44:21). It happens in the Bible that identity or similarity of names presages some type of ultimate connection. After that we have CISAY meaning chair or throne and in this case it could connote the THRONE of Britain. The Stone of Scone is now in Scotland but according to agreement will be brought to England in the event of a Coronation Ceremony. Traditionally the monarchs of Britain are coronated while sitting on a throne with The Stone of Scone underneath it.

4. Scotland, Ephraim, and David

Again there is a change here in the Hebrew spelling. It all revolves around the letter "T". In Hebrew the English letter "T" may be represented by a "Tet" or by a "Tath". Modern Hebrew when transliterating foreign names uses a "Tet" for the Latin "T" whereas Biblical Hebrew would often use a "Tath". There are good reasons for the Modern Hebrew usage but it cannot negate the Biblical Hebrew possibility. In this and the next example (i.e. nos 4 & 5) SCOTLAND is spelt as it would be in Modern Hebrew if they would use the orthographic principles of Biblical Hebrew.

SCOTLAND is linked to DAVID at the top as in Example no.2 above. Above DAVID is MITSRAYIM meaning EGYPT or OUT OF EGYPT if the letter "M" from the previous word is considered. This is similar to what we found in example no.1 above. On the same line we find the name EPHRAIM. Further down intersecting SCOTLAND we find ANGEL OF GOD and GOD. Then the second last line intersects SCOTLAND with THE EDGES [THIGHS] OF THE NORTH, CITY OF THE KING. We find the Hebrew word for "thigh" when applied in a geographic sense meaning "peninsula" and this is what Scotland is.

5. Scotland, Judah, and the Jews

SCOTLAND at a sequence of 86811 is close to THE KINGS OF JUDAH at the top left and intersects THE JEWS [Hebrew: HaYeHUDIM] at the bottom.

There are traditions that many Jews or kidnapped children of Jews were once taken from England to Scotland. At all events aspects of the Mosaic Law especially the dietary prohibitions were practised in Scotland from pre-Christian times.

6. Alba, Scotland, and the Land of Egypt

Alba is another name for Scotland. The above illustration simply shows one of the numerous combinations forming the name "ALBA". The context is that of Joseph and his brothers settling in EGYPT and increasiong and multiplying there (Genesis 47:26-27). The Present Exile of Joseph and Judah in some ways may be considered an aspect of Ancient Egypt and the enforced sojourn of the Children of Israel there.

[Genesis 47:26] AND JOSEPH MADE IT A LAW OVER THE LAND OF EGYPT UNTO THIS DAY, THAT PHARAOH SHOULD HAVE THE FIFTH PART, EXCEPT THE LAND OF THE PRIESTS ONLY, WHICH BECAME NOT PHARAOH'S.

[Genesis 47:27] AND DWELT ISRAEL IN THE LAND [Hebrew: "YiSRaAL Be-AReTS"] OF EGYPT, IN THE COUNTRY OF GOSHEN; AND THEY HAD POSSESSIONS THEREIN, AND GREW, AND MULTIPLIED EXCEEDINGLY.

7. Scotland, Simeon, and Israel

For the sake of balance, we entered SCOTLAND as spelt in Hebrew with a "SIN" which is acceptable in Biblical Hebrew but not the practice in Modern Hebrew.
This is the first result we came up with. It is a reverse sequence of 8531.
In this Matrix SCOTLAND intersects:

Our Brit-Am Bible Codes examination of Scotland (concentrating on Israelite Tribal affiliation) indicated connections with KARNAYIM east of the Jordan in the territory of Menasseh, with Benjamin, a Coming Out of Egypt, along with Jacob and the Scottish "Jock". The Seed of DAVID is somehow connected with Scotland as we found indicated more than once. We found CALEDONIA and also BECHER of Ephraim and Benjamin along with EPHRAIM and the NORTHERN PENINSULA, the Kings of Judah and the Jews. We also found evidence of SIMEON in Scotland.
