Variety of Israel

Dear Yair:
I really enjoy looking at all the photos in the "Hebrews" gallery. I have
noticed a striking phenomenon - they all have two eyes, two ears, one nose and a
mouth! All joking aside, the variety of complexions, hair color and texture, and
face shapes is what is most noticeable. Even among the Jews who have done such a
superb job at remaining "Jewish" after all these centuries. We are all truly a
mixture of peoples. Although there is a high probability of Jewish ancestors on
my father's side, I feel in my heart that I am an Ephraimite. My ancestry is
Czech, Dutch, French and English (with maybe a dab of Native American) but all
my life I have been told I resemble Ann Margret who is Swedish! He has indeed
scattered the seed of Abraham, praise Hashem forever!
My continued praise and prayers for your work,
Lane Kelly

Games and Simulation
Subject: Long Bow
Long bow is a good weapon for devastating armies on foot. The Composite bow
which the Scythians seemed to use, is very good for distance and rapid firing
while on horseback or on foot. Has a much greater ranger and was very easy to
handle.
To get an idea, or better yet a simulation of the weapons. The game Medieval
total war, or Rome total war is very good when it comes to the accuracy of
weapons, and military maneuvers of armies. I play the game quite a bit to get a
better understand of the use of such weapons, and how well do they preform
against certain armies.
I would recommend if there is an interest, to buy those games and try them out.
Every few years they come out with new ones for different time periods.

#1. Craig Blackwood: Insights
This comment by Craig Blackwood: "Satan never originates, he only imitates and
that inversely and perversely." is a profound observation that needs to be
urgently recognized. The failure to recognize this has caused needless
antagonism and has distracted believers in God into fighting the wrong enemy.
Besides pointing an accusing finger at certain music critics, I am thinking that
I have been guilty at times of this error in other areas. Every good and
perfect gift is from God, and He is the Creator. If that gift is being misused,
we should be carefully calling attention to the misuse instead of denouncing the
gift itself as Satanic.
