CHETH
[Psalms 119:57] THOU ART MY PORTION, O LORD: I HAVE SAID THAT I WOULD KEEP THY  WORDS.
This eight-line section has every sentence headed by a word whose first letter is "Chet" also pronounceable as close to "het". The letter "chet" in Hebrew has the numerical value of eight. The French "huit" and the English "eight" are derived from a dialectical pronunciation of "chet".
The psalmist says that God is his portion. When everything else in life becomes doubtful or unsettled it is good to be able to have knowledge of the Almighty as a surety. This will never let us down unless we abandon or disregard it.

[Psalms 119:58] I INTREATED THY FAVOUR WITH MY WHOLE HEART: BE MERCIFUL UNTO ME  ACCORDING TO THY WORD.
We ask God to help us not because HE is obliged to but since HE can do so even if we do not deserve it (cf. Radak).

[Psalms 119:59] I THOUGHT ON MY WAYS, AND TURNED MY FEET UNTO THY TESTIMONIES.
I THOUGHT. Hebrew "Chishavti" also connoting "reckoning", "give account for". I weighed up the pros and cons of going in the Way of the Almighty and of not doing so and came to the conclusion that God gives the best deal, in fact if everything is taken into considered God gives the only deal.

[Psalms 119:60] I MADE HASTE, AND DELAYED NOT TO KEEP THY COMMANDMENTS.
If something is worth doing and one benefits greatly from it then it should be done at once. This is apart from all other considerations.

[Psalms 119:61] THE BANDS OF THE WICKED HAVE ROBBED ME: BUT I HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN THY LAW.
Wicked people have oppressed me and made life difficult for me but I have still endeavored to keep the Commandments.
HAVE ROBBED ME. Hebrew "Ividuni". There is no real consensus as to the meaning of this word and it dopes not appear elsewhere in Scripture.
We would suggest it comes from the root "ViAD" meaning to meet together, and in Modern Hebrew we have "ve-ad" from the same root meaning "committee".
Conspiracy Theories on the whole are false and wicked. They are destructive in their intention and pollute the intellect. They are also usually anti-Semitic and anti-Israelite-"Anglo" in their intention.
That is why we campaign against them. Nevertheless it does happen in life as if the "system" meaning established interests and proponents of false ideologies working in tandem bring about a barrage of psychological pressures whose apparent intent is to cause us to think wrongly and depart from the straight track of belief in the Almighty and His Law. This is not however "Conspiracy" in the Classical sense but rather an outcome of human nature at the baser level. We must try to resist this and overcome it. By substituting obedience to the Almighty for the dictates of our surroundings we can still win.

[Psalms 119:62] AT MIDNIGHT I WILL RISE TO GIVE THANKS UNTO THEE BECAUSE OF THY RIGHTEOUS JUDGMENTS.
Some Religious Jews have a special program of prayer and learning at midnight. Nowadays many of us do not go to bed until midnight or close to it. In Biblical Times however people lived and worked in agricultural surroundings and set their schedule according to the hours of sunshine. It was customary to go to sleep early and those who wanted to fit more time into the day would rise early rather than go to sleep late.
Benjamin Franklin once said:

"Early to bed, early to rise, make a man healthy, wealthy, and wise".

[Psalms 119:63] I AM A COMPANION OF ALL THEM THAT FEAR THEE, AND OF THEM THAT KEEP THY PRECEPTS.
This is good advice. One should seek out the companionship of good God-fearing people and identify with them.

[Psalms 119:64] THE EARTH, O LORD, IS FULL OF THY MERCY: TEACH ME THY STATUTES.
THY MERCY. In Hebrew "chasdeca" meaning more correctly "YOUR kindness". The mercy and kindness of God is everywhere. We ask God to instruct us as to HIS will in order to both receive mercy from HIM and be kind to others.
